Please join us as we celebrate the Blessed Virgin Mary honoring her divine motherhood to Jesus Christ during the feast of the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God. Vigil masses will be Sunday, December 31st 7:00 PM at SS Peter & Paul and Our Lady of Grace. Monday, January 1st masses will be at 9:00 AM at St. Timothy's and St. Mary's. Although not a holy day of obligation this year, Pope Paul VI, in his apostolic exhortation Marialis Cultus (1974), called the Solemnity of Mary “a fitting occasion for renewing adoration of the newborn Prince of Peace, for listening once more to the glad tidings of the angels (Luke 2:14), and for imploring from God, through the Queen of Peace, the supreme gift of peace.”
As we come to the seventh day within the Octave of the Nativity of the Lord (Christmas), we will be celebrating the Feast of the Holy Family following our normal weekend schedule. Please note the Parish Office will be close at noon Friday, December 22nd and will not reopen until Tuesday, January 3rd. Any year end donations need to be brought to the office by noon December 22nd, stamped as mailed December 30th, or placed in collection baskets by December 31st to be included on 2023 parishioner contribution statements. We wish everyone a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!
