May we be especially thankful this June 29th for Saints Peter & Paul. Not only are they the rock upon which Jesus built his church, but they are also the Saints for which our beautiful church was named.
Father Trevor was ordained 3 years ago on June 23, 2017. We are grateful for the exemplary dedication he exhibits to our people and our parishes. Please thank and wish him well especially during this anniversary.
“God our Father, we give you thanks and praise for our fathers young and old. We pray for our new fathers, embracing their vocation; may they find courage and perseverance to balance work, family, and faith in joy and sacrifice. We pray for our fathers around the world whose children are lost or suffering; may they know that the God of Compassion walks with them in their sorrow. We pray for men who are not fathers but still mentor and guide us with fatherly love and advice. We remember fathers, grandfathers, and great grandfathers who are no longer with us but who live forever in our memory and nourish us with their love. Amen
We welcome Seminarian Brad Robey to our parishes. Originally from Des Moines, Brad is now studying in Saint Paul and will be joining us this summer. He will be ordained as a Deacon June 12th and is looking forward to assisting Father Trevor. We're blessed to have him as he prepares for priesthood within our Diocese. Please offer Brad a warm welcome!
