SS Peter & Paul will have Mass at 9:00 am Saturday, November 2nd, All Souls' Day. Although not a holy day of obligation, please come and pray those who have died and not yet reached heaven. Candles will be lit on the side altars in remembrance of parishioners who passed over the past year.
Please join us for Mass at SS Peter & Paul Thursday, October 31st at 6:30 pm or Friday, November 1st at 7:00 am or noon for this day dedicated to the saints of the church. St. Mary's will also be offering an All Saint's Day Mass at 5:30 pm Friday. We hope to see you on this holy day of obligation.
Congratulations to Michelle Meinecke, daughter of Don & Lois Sonntag! Michelle is the lucky winner of this year's Sewing Circle Quilt Raffle. May she enjoy the "Atlantic Star" quilt for many years to come.
Please join us for the Annual SSPP Fall Bazaar Sunday, October 27th. We will be serving a traditional turkey dinner, as well as selling general store, baked good, and sewing circle items. Parish Center doors open at 10:00 am, and dinner will be served from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
On October 7, we celebrate the yearly feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. Before the battle of Lepanto in 1571, Pope St Pius V requested all the faithful pray the rosary. The Christian were victorious and the day was later established as a feast in honor of Our Blessed Mother. Take a few minutes to pray the rosary today in gratitude for the protection of our Church.
The SSPP Sewing Circle has completed their annual quilt for raffle at the Fall Bazaar. Tickets for the hand-quilted, king-sized "Atlantic Star" quilt can be purchased for $1.00 each from envelopes in the SSPP church pews or by contacting a member of the Sewing Circle. Good Luck!
